Who could ask for anything more?

Posted by lpearle on 2 March 2006

Ok, I could. But not much more.

Last night I went to the opera. “Romeo et Juliette“, to be precise. Parterre seats, which are the best in the house (thanks to winning a raffle at MPOW). Before that, a nice dinner with a decent bottle of wine. Then to Brooklyn, and bed.

This morning, on my way to work, a phone call: school’s closed due to impending storm. Not “current conditions”, mind you, impending conditions. I got home at the time I would normally have left for work.

So now I have the day off, a day to cuddle with The Boys and read and veg. An unscheduled Day Off. And now, if you don’t mind, I’m off to enjoy it.
